Basic Port Table
Slot
The slot number for this port.
Port
The relative position of a port within a card starting with 1. The AUI port
identifier is 13.
Port Type
This read-only object displays the type of this port. States are repeater and
other.
Admin Status
The administrative state of a port; when the unlocked action is requested, a
BEGIN is exerted upon the auto-partition state machine. Possible states are
locked and unlocked.
Port Partition State
Indicates whether a port has been automatically partitioned by the hub’s
auto-partition protection. This happens if a port signals continuous collision
or if there are greater than 30 consectutive collisions on the port.
