Device Topology (DevTop) View

What Is in This Chapter

This chapter describes the Device Topology view for SPECTRUM models of

SynOptics 28000 switches. This chapter also describes the views and

functions available from the Device Topology view. The Device Topology

(DevTop) view represents a device in terms of its ports and port connections.

Device Topology View

The Device Topology view allows you to connect other devices to SynOptics

switch ports. It also allows you to view information pertaining to these ports

and their connections. Figure 5-1 provides an example of the DevTop view for

the SynOptics switch model.
