The WAN Connection Interface Table View is accessed from the WAN

Connections Physical Ports View and is described below.

WAN Connection Interface Table View

This table view provides information about the physical port’s interfaces. You can print the

results of the table. Double-clicking a table entry opens the WAN Interface View, which

provides similar information to the table in the WAN Connection Interface Table View for

the selected interface. You can modify ﬁeld values in this table.

To access: Double-click on a Physical Ports Table entry’s Port Index or Type, in

the WAN Connection Physical Ports View.

WAN Connection Displays the index value identifying a connection to the WAN port.

Physical Port Displays the index value uniquely identifying the WAN port.

Entry Index Displays the index value identifying the WAN port and associated

connection.

If Index Displays the index value of this entry as an interface to a WAN in the MIB-II

Interface Table.

Protocol Displays the protocol that should be run on this interface. This ﬁeld is

modiﬁable. Accepted values are product dependent. Refer to the Cabletron

Systems BRIM-WT1 User’s Guide for more information.

Compression This ﬁeld indicates whether compression is On or Off. You can modify this

ﬁeld.

MTU Designates the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) that can be transmitted

on the selected interface.

Line Coding This describes the line coding. Options are, JBZS, B8ZS, HDB3, ZBTSI, AMI,

and Other.

CRC Length Displays the length of the cyclical redundancy check (CRC). This value can

be either 16-bits or 32-bits.
